As I was writing my Draft AOC email, I am getting scammed.
As I was writing my previous post on Drafting AOC for President of the United States, in a moment of desperation, one doesn’t pay attention and can easily fall victim of scammers.
In the hook email, from a personal friend that I do politics. We usually communicate by WhatsApp but since he friended me recently on Facebook (I usually don’t respond to Friends requests when I receive them. Sometimes it takes me years) so I responded telling him about my current eviction.
They use his name to dangle a check from HUD to pay my lawyer. It’s only after I entered my personal information that it dawn on me that it was a scam.
So while I am being scammed thousand of dollars by shoddy developers, I am being scammed another set by what looks like Indian or Nigerian scammers.
